So let's do it! Full of belief, confident that we're presentable inside and out. Let's keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word. Let's see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on, especially as we see the big Day approaching. Hebrews 10:23-25, The Message

Mom, what would I do without you?
Just earlier tonight ... wow! My first answer to him, "probably more dishes!"
"When you go through as much pain as you do, and you still serve God wholeheartedly, it encourages me so much to serve God..."
-and to that I give it all to God for him helping me. I am grateful for God's strength and unconditional love. I couldn't do it without God...
When I was a child, my friends would say that I looked like Laura Ingels from Little House on the Prairie. I loved it then; well I did have the long, braided pig tails.
When Mark and I were involved with politics, we went to an event and several different "mucky mucks" (the State Insurance Commissioner, candidate for Congress, Candidate for State Attorney General, to name a few all complemented me on my dress, I laughed at one point, because (It was a hand-me -down dress from one of my mothers wealthy friends (It was "purckered cotton black chemise with a diamond patterned jacket in bright colors-rather retro looking)Plus this is when I was 4 months pregnant and still in a size 14)!
I was told by a friend who knew my grandmother that I was very much like her.
and
I heard my daughter say to a friend, I don't know what I would have done without my mom". She went through a very difficult time in her life and thank God I was able to be supportive.
I CAN HONESTLY SAY THE TIMES I HAVE FELT TRULY COMPLIMENTED HAVE BEEN THE TIMES THAT SOMEONE HAS SAID SOMETHING CONCERNING MY RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD, MY WALK WITH GOD, OR MATURITY IN CHRIST, SO YOU SEE I REALLY HAVE VERY LITTLE T DO WITH THAT BECAUSE ITS ALL HIM, NOT ME. AND THAT REALLY FEELS COMPLIMENTARY...YOU KNOW? LUV YA K.
hey, its me again.
uhm...compliments...
I remember, it was recently. At all-southern honor orchestra the director was the guy from Yale. At one of the practices he looked at the trumpet section and later pulled me out and said this..."I want you come to Yale, play fo' my band."
No matter the crazy accent, it was still a wonderful encouragement to hear a person of that status say...well done.
...And now for some more audio-adreneline and video games.
Your not-so-girly friend,
The Devin
I received one today that touched the deepest part of my heart, my sister in Christ said, "It's a fine thing to talk about walking with God...Tanya WALKS with God. And, there's nothing 'teensie' about her faith!" Everytime I think about that quote it brings tears to my eyes...Thank you..._________________Also another compliment was from my mom, She tells me that she is proud of me because of how far I have come. I have come a long way. She says that I am not the shy, intimidated, fearful girl I used to be. I am a CHILD Of GOD!!!
My 13 yr old niece asked me today:
"If God asked you to marry Him, would you. I think you should marry him because he's your kind of man."
