I moved from New Mexico to Ca.in the middle of my junior year, needless to say I was heartbroken not to be with my class, since it was so late in the year they sent me to a continuation school, where I finished a year and a half in about three and a half weeks.I did not walk with cap and gown until I graduated from medical assistant school. I missed being class Valedictorian by one point(I kid you not)I was class Salutatorian, but received a lamplighter award, I actually treasure that more, as it represents something more meaningful to me. LUV YA=^..^=

Wow, Kathy I understand the feeling about not graduating with your friends. My father was actually discharged from the Air Force and we had to move two weeks before my graduation.

Thankfully my brother joked with my English Teacher about having a little graduation before I moved to CA. My English teacher Ms Rose Padilla made it happen. She talked to the Principal and other top people that would perform my school's graduation. I was able to walk in my Cap and Gown across the Auditorium and stage and receive my diploma. It was awesome with all my family and friends at my side.

Oh, all right! I guess somebody has to graduate from San Bernardino High School. Class of 1978 (right on Tamara!) Go Cardinals!! Rah, rah!!

On a different note - I finally finished all my book learning for medical transcription. Now I have about 400 hours of transcribing reports/clinic notes, etc. before I gradiate (I misspelled on purpose, just so you know!) & get my certificate. Thank you for your prayers & keep on praying, please!
