Gayle, a girlfriend in high school, used to celebrate May Day by bringing all of us flowers and wishing us happy friendships. Sounds good to me!
Happy friendship! Jesus loves you!
From infoplease.com ... May 1st, often called May Day, just might have more holidays than any other day of the year. It's a celebration of Spring. It's a day of political protests. It's a neopagan festival, a saint's feast day, and a day for organized labor. In many countries, it is a national holiday.

Personally, I prefer Cinco De Mayo
Terry
I was born on May 5 which America celebrates the famous "Cinco de Mayo" and then when I was in Japan, May 5 is "Children's Day" so everywhere I go on my birthday, the world celebrates, LOL
It's me again. ooooh it's 3:17 a.m. in Japan. I need to go to bed. Well, actually it's 3:17 p.m. in the good old USA.
Thanks Pam, Fran, and Judy. The fiesta was perfect. I really enjoyed spending time with women who love the Lord and actually was more acquainted with new faces too.
I always look forward to these kinds of events. Can't wait for Women's Retreat...
So Tanya ... We (Terry, Devin and I) are wondering whether fibromyalgia is really just chronic jet lag ... Should you move to Japan???
Technically Fibromyalgia is a form of water Jetlag. The "Fib" is the form of an untold truth, the "ro" is short for rowing your boat down the stream. THe "my" is for me, the "yal" it a misspelling of the word y'all, and the "G" is for what's us G? and the I is for me again, and the "A" is the sound the "fonze" used to make AAAAAA
SO it's an untold truth of rowing my boat down the stream with y'all -my homies. aaaaaaaaa....awesome.
Well, actually I lived in Japan 23 years ago, so that's a long jet lag. Hey, are you trying to get rid of me? ha ha ha ha ha...you can't get rid of me THAT easily.
May Day? Isn't that a distress call or something....lol, jk
Love it ... such a versatile holiday! ;-)
Okay, after reading all of my crazy messages, I think I need to be put in a mental institution. ha ha...I guess when I am stressed, I should avoid typing.
I guess May Day, was a cry for help for me.
I am so glad for the people who have encouraged me these last few days and am thankful for our Pastor who preached a series on Hope. I had to borrow the whole series on Hope... At least I know, there is hope. Eventually, this too shall pass.
Is there a National Blogger's Day?
