So let's do it! Full of belief, confident that we're presentable inside and out. Let's keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word. Let's see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on, especially as we see the big Day approaching. Hebrews 10:23-25, The Message

My friends Lisa loves hydrangea - I think I have loved hydrangea since I met her. Girlfriends introduce us to the best things.
Its funny that I thought of Lisa and hydrandeas when I read the question, also one of my favorites for the same reason as dr. pams. But the pinpointing of one flower, hmmm? Roses, by their very definition are beautiful, however to me the smell of a carnation is intoxicating, the simplistic beauty of a daisy, the powerful idealogy of an Easter Lilly, ,the way sunflowers and morning glories seemingly raise their faces to honor their Creator, the bouquet of orange flowers Jorge picked for me on the side of the road, are you starting to see my dilemna? I heard someone say one time that women are like a garden of flowers, all beautiful and fragrant, and sometimes some will catch your eye as especially beautiful that day.
I love Roses! I have a hard time picking a favorite color as they are all so beautiful. They are also one of the very few flowers that don't make me sneeze! PTL I can enjoy them!!!
A client brought me roses from her garden. Pink and white/pink variegated in a dixie cup. Beautiful, smell wonderful, and disposable! ;-)
I love stargazer lilies. They are the flower's John and I had in our wedding so it brings back wonderful memories.

i just wanted to add a note three very special girls of mine are named after flowers, Rosalynda(beautiful rose)Jenavieve(white flower)and of course my Lilly Rose, coincidence? hmmmm I think not,the Word says a good name is rather chosen than all riches...LOVE IT!AND LUV YOU GALS TOO...=^..^= kat
My all time favorite is the rose. I have written a many poems of roses about how God has made each of us Christians like a beautiful, vibrant rose. Even though the rose may be beautiful, they do have painful thorns that God prunes in us to make us even more beautiful. God is a beauty.
Yesterday, My neighbors gave me an unexpected early Non-mother's day present. It was a pot of yellow, blooming mini roses. I told her she has given me the most precious gift. There is just something about watching the beautiful colored roses grow and it reminds me of God's great love for us... If he put so much thought in creating a flower, think what he does with us...May you feel God's love as he prunes you to make you that beautiful person he wants you to be.
Pam, you mentioned Hydrangeas which everytime I see one, I think of Virginia V's which is her favorite.
I do love the rose, but the dwarf and the mini's are the best.

When someone crushes your flowers, you have to sweep them up, and plant some more.
Okay, I like any plant that is miniature.... plus I enjoy a variety of flowers with vibrant colors.
